Refund policy

 

Boutique/Local Artisan products items can be returned for online credit within 30 days of purchase with the receipt and must be in original condition. All sale items are final sale.  Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

If you have received a defective product please notify us within 7 days via email to info@theyogajunction.com or by telephone 587-254-3141 to request a replacement. Please provide the following information when requesting a replacement: invoice number, invoice date, and your name as it appears on the invoice.

Please note that all items must be in original condition with all packing material and documentation. Please include a photocopy of your original invoice and send your package via a delivery service that provides tracking information. All shipping and handling must be prepaid by the customer.

All Things Yoga products have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@theyogajunction.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Retreats & YYT

 

Refunds, minus a $100.00 deposit + GST, and a $25.00 Administration Fee, are available up until 30 days before the retreat start date. No refunds or credits will be provided after that time. You may arrange for another person to take your place or you may choose a different retreat from the same season if space is available.  

*All travel arrangement changes and cancellations are the responsibility of the participant.  (internationally and domestically) We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.  The Yoga Junction is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

For International Retreats

Payment of a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for international retreats. Refunds, minus a $500 deposit + GST, and a $25.00 Administration fee, are available up until 60 days before the retreat start date.  No refunds or credits will be provided after that time.  You may arrange for another person to take your place (upon approval of TYJ admin) or you may choose a different retreat (of equal or lesser value) from the same season if a retreat or space is available. (additional costs of retreat are the responsibility of the retreat participant)

*Full Payment is required 45 days prior to the retreat start date

For YTT 

*Payment of a $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in the YYT training. 

Admission Denials.

An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of the deposit paid by said applicant.

*Applications being accepted before interviews.  Phone or in-person interview is required in order to proceed past the application process.

*The full tuition for the program must be paid prior to the start date of training for you to participate in the first day of classes.  
*Payment plan available; consisting of the total amount due, minus deposit and equal payments divided by the number of months proceeding the training. 
A student completing more than 50% of the course is not entitled to a refund of any tuition.

Bad Conduct

No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is a violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behaviour that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students.

Workshops & Events

Workshop cancellation outside 48 hours will incur an admin fee of 20% or $25 whichever is greater, remainder credited to your account. Cancellations within 48 hours are not refundable.  

Refund policy for workshops, registered programs, memberships and session passes: 

  • No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop or event
  • For cancellations made within 2 weeks of the start date, there is a 50% refund
  • All cancellations made before 2 weeks of the start date are subject to a 20%  or $25 (whichever is greater) administration fee
  • The prenatal series does not permit make-ups due to the limited class size.
  • No refunds for memberships after 3 days of signing agreement.
  • No refunds on session passes.

Late & Expiration Policy in Studio

  • We do NOT offer refunds on Drop-ins, Punch Passes or Memberships.
  • All Free Intro offers expire after 1 month, Punch Passes expire 3-6 months from the purchase date (10 pack-3 months, 20 pack-6 months)
  • Workshops and events are valid only for the date purchased
  • Registered classes (or series) are valid for the duration of the series, no make-ups available for Prenatal due to class size

  • Showing up consistently late for a class can result in you being turned away
  • We know life happens, if you are late & your spot is still available you will be permitted to join class up to five minutes late.
  • If someone is at the studio ready to attend class and you are late (past class start time) your spot will be given away
  • Late cancellation fees are in place if cancellation happens within 4 hours of the start of in-studio class. If you are a Mountain or Savasana member you will be charged a session, if you are a Warrior member will you be charged a $10 fee.  Please refer to your membership agreement.
  • If you are late to your class you may not be permitted in, and late fees will be charged.

Water Yoga 

There are no refunds or credits offered on Drop-in purchases or session passes for all water yoga classes/programs.  If you can not attend you may send someone in your place.  We are unable to reschedule these classes as the instructors are specifically reserved for these times and can not be rebooked.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards, Gift Certificates or Donations of Gift Cards and Gift Certificates.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
